7 Time management tips for students.

We all Know, Time is like a stream it is continuously flowing. Time can never become a friend or a foe. It has got powers to build a man or to destroy him. This super-power can make you wealthy or bankrupt, healthy or bedridden, successful or forfeiting, popular or unknown. The outcome depends on how you use it. That’s why time cannot be ignored; it has to be used judiciously. We can not afford to waste time. It has to be managed and it is the need of the hour.Now, the question arises. How can time be managed? Especially when exams are near.Here, I can suggest you some effortless and good yielding ways to manage time:

1. Time Management is a pre-processing brain activity like –make a list of the tasks in a tabular form with their individual time and checkbox to make sure whether you have finished work or not.

1. Take tiny breaks in between studies because this will increase your efficiency. You can go for a walk of 5 min or you can play for 5 min or exercise to refresh your body.

1. Do not take timetable or tasks as a burden or punishment. Yes, when you feel it is not working out or tasks are cumbersome or subject is tough. No problem shuffle timetable do another one but don’t get demotivated just change the page and you will have a new beginning. Moreover, you can analyze your previous work done along with the checkboxes made. So as to make sure what is left and on which part you have to work more.

1. Be disciplined and organized with your belongings. Always keep your things at their original place like, if you are using any assignment copy or clothes or book or accessories etc. just keep all of them at their place it will hardly take few seconds but if you don’t do it next time you will waste a lot of time in finding them.

1. Stop being a procrastinator complete your work on time, do not delay it for future, In case you urgently got some work then allow time for unexpected things but then complete the former task next hour but don’t delay. “Tomorrow never comes.”

1. Smartphones are the biggest and core reason for wastage of time. So I would suggest defining your priorities, set an alarm whenever using social networking sites to limit the time.

1. Nutrition intake and sound sleep. These are also as important as working and doing tasks because nutrition will give you energy, always eat healthy like you can have milk, dry fruits, fruits etc. In between, your breaks to maintain energy and very important a good sleep of 7-8 hrs is a must to recharge your body and memorize things in a better way. So take out time from your busy schedule for these 2 activities as well.
